Meet Sheryl Green
“The How to Say No Expert”
Hey there! I’m Sheryl. I’m a mental health speaker, author of “You Had Me No: How Setting Healthy Boundaries Helps Banish Burnout, Repair Relationships, and Save Your Sanity” (and the corresponding coloring book), and a recovering people-pleaser. I mean, I was truly AMAZING at it!
I’m also the creator of the Boundary Breakthrough Program (along with the PEC™ Method and the Intentional Decision Making™ Framework). What does all of this mean? After years of putting everyone else’s needs above my own, I’m now really good at saying No… and I can totally teach you!
There I was, running my own business and working full-time for an animal rescue, trying to be everything to everyone, when my body and my soul had enough. I emailed my boss, “I’ve got one foot on a breakdown and the other foot on a banana peel,” and took a mental health break.
I spent the next few weeks doing some soul searching (and a lot of jigsaw puzzles). It was super painful (the personal development work, not the puzzles), but it was worth every tear I shed. Why? Because it led me to one of my life’s greatest lessons… I had no boundaries. Actually, I didn’t even know boundaries were a “thing.” I embarked on this journey and realized that healthy boundaries make for a healthier, happier life, and a better business!
Now, I get to help other “overgivers” (just like you) speak up for themselves, stand up for themselves, and create a life they actually WANT to live.
What to Expect
Day 1
The first step to a life of freedom and ease, is to PAUSE. In the past, you have been driven by unconscious, ingrained beliefs that compel you to overgive of yourself. These beliefs have caused you to say “Yes” without any regard for your well-being. We’ll shine a light and banish those beliefs so you can move forward with a new lightness.
Day 2
Next, you will journey through your history and tap into your body’s wisdom to discover what boundaries you need to set for the future. We’ll also discuss the Intentional Decision Making Framework™ and how you can use it to make better, more-informed decisions every day. At the end of Day 2, you’ll have a clear understanding of how to EVALUATE “opportunities” on a case-by-case basis.
Day 3
Creating boundaries is great, but if you never COMMUNICATE them to the people in your life… have you really set them at all? On Day 3, we map out the communication strategies that will support you in setting and upholding your boundaries. You’ll learn how to speak up for yourself, and how to release the individuals who refuse to accept the “new you,” with kindness and compassion.
